The Hardwell Smith "Smitty" Foundation (known as HSS Foundation) is a non-profit corporation that seeks to increase the recruitment and retention of women and all minorities in the following areas: automotive, education, financial literacy, and computer base technology. The HSS foundation is grid toward services through mentoring, coaching, tutoring, skills training sessions via virtual and face to face. HSS Foundation seeks to build skill proficiency by providing training to reduce disparities. 

The Mt. Vernon Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping people become healthy, educated, and employed. The Foundation initiates and supports leadership and educational experiences through which families are inspired and enabled to create positive change within themselves, their families and communities. 

Friends Against Violence is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending violence in our communities through education, prevention, and empowerment. We provide youth and families with resources, mentorship that promote peace, respect, and personal growth. Our programs focus on violence prevention training, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and community outreach-helping young people make positive choices and build a culture of nonviolence. Together, we are creating safer communities and stronger futures.

 The P.O.E.T organization was founded In 1990, by international award-winning Spoken Word poet De'Andre Hawthorne, also known as Blaq Ice. He had a vision, straight from the heart of Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Fueled by his gift for poetry, rap, and the arts, he founded the P.O.E.T organization with a mission to do more than just perform; he aimed to change lives. For over 30 years, P.O.E.T has been a powerful force for activism, reaching into schools, juvenile detention centers, people experiencing homelessness and the community to mentor and inspire youth. Through creativity and passion, the organization has left a lasting impact, transforming countless lives with every verse, every word, and every act of service.
